Volunteer

Volunteers are an essential part of Brewfest's success, and we hope you will join us as a festival volunteer. (Ages 21 or over only please.) Click here for the Volunteer Application. 

Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the Brewfest – for individuals or teams. Volunteer shifts are generally 4.5 hours. To thank you for your assistance, all volunteers will receive the following:

·Three-day festival wristband with one tasting glass and a number of tasting tickets

·Volunteer t-shirt, name badge, and snack pack w/bottled water

Volunteer teams also receive the following:

·Additional tasting tickets
·Option to name your team and design your name badge*

*The Oregon Garden has final approval on team names and badge designs. All teams will be entered into a drawing upon completion of the 2013 Brewfest. Winning team will receive complimentary tickets to the 2014 Brewer’s Dinner.

TEAMS VS. INDIVIDUALS

On the volunteer application, you will see three options: Individual, Team Leader, and Team Member. Teams are groups of 12 people who sign up to work together on a particular shift. There is one team leader who will sign up to reserve a shift (contacting the Volunteer Coordinator at 503-874-2533 or bmaurer@oregongarden.org) . Team members are the 12 people on the team who will reference the Team Leader’s name on their application in order to be included in the team. There are four team spots available per shift.

Individuals are all volunteers who are not on teams. Individuals who would like to work with friends or family members are welcome to include this request in the additional comments section. In most cases we can accommodate your request. If you have fewer than 12 people, please sign up as Individuals.

The following shifts are no longer taking additional teams:

Saturday 11:15 to 3:30

Saturday 3:00 to 7:30
